Thank you for Attending the Seventh Annual Starlight Gala

The seventh annual Starlight Gala at the Spring Lake Community House took place on Friday,

September 13, 2019.

The beautifully decorated garden, accented by an unusually bright full moon, set the stage for a

truly wonderful evening. Local restaurants provided food, and the Joe Baracata band provided

live music throughout the evening, ensuring a packed dance floor.

The Starlight Gala is one of two major fundraising events sponsored each year to help support

ongoing capital improvements to the nearly 100-year-old building.

A very warm thank you to everyone who helped make the seventh annual Starlight Gala at the

Spring Lake Community House such a special evening. We are eternally grateful to everyone

who came and hope you will come and celebrate with us again next year.

A special thank you to our major benefactor, Hackensack Meridian Health: Hackensack

University Medical Center Foundation.

Furthermore, thank you to the sponsors of the gala:

Atlantic Veterinary Hospital, Barlow’s, Dr. Barton Sterling, MD, Dr. John Little, DMD, Jack Green

Realty, Design Line Kitchens, Olinda Taysing-Fuda, Coldwell Banker. Greater Spring Lake

Chamber and Spring Lake Business Improvement District, Karolak Facial Plastic Surgeon, The

Bormida Family, The Boyle Family, The Griffin Family, and The Mahoney Family.

The Spring Lake Community House would also like to thank our dinner sponsors, who provided

all the amazing food for the event: Arugula, Benny’s Pizza, Brandl, Cameo Bakery, Drew’s

The Starlight Gala sounded like a truly magical night filled with art, music, and community spirit. I love seeing how creativity brings people together to support meaningful causes — it’s inspiring to see that kind of dedication. Events like this remind me how important it is to celebrate artistry and craftsmanship, not just on stage but in every creative field. That’s something we deeply value at kyivworkshop, where every handmade piece carries its own story and passion. Reading about the Gala makes me appreciate even more the role of art in connecting people and sparking inspiration in everyday life.

It’s wonderful to see the Starlight Gala bringing the community together to celebrate the arts and support the theatre. Events like this not only showcase talent but also create moments where people can connect, share stories, and enjoy a sense of togetherness. It makes me think about how food can play a similar role in bringing people closer, especially dishes that carry tradition and culture. For me, making argentina empanadas at gatherings is one of those small ways to celebrate and share something meaningful, adding flavour and warmth to any occasion while connecting with friends and family over a shared experience.
