Dress Code

Theatre Workshop Grades 2-7:

Leotards, leggings/sweatpants, shirts, modest comfortable clothing. White or pink ballet shoes for girls, black jazz shoes for boys. NO JEANS. LEOTARDS MUST BE WORN UNDER ALL CLOTHING. Must have a three-ring, hardcover binder, pencils, and a highlighter.

Theatre Workshop Grades 8-12:

3 & 4 year old / 4 & 5-year-old Tap/Ballet Combination Class:

Any combination of black, white, and pink including a leotard, skirt, and white tights

SHOES: White Capezio Daisy ballet slippers & White BLOCH Annie Tyette Tap Shoes

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

5 & 6 year old / 6 & 7 year old Tap/Ballet/Jazz Combination Class:

Any combination of black, white, and pink including a leotard, skirt, and tights. No pants/shorts.

SHOES: White Capezio Daisy ballet slippers, White BLOCH Annie Tyette Tap Shoes, and Tan Capezio EJ2 Caramel jazz shoes

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

7-9 year old Jazz/Hip Hop Class (FRIDAYS):

Any combination of black, white and pink including a leotard, skirt, and tights. Sweatpants & tshirts may be worn over leotard for hip hop portion of class.

SHOES: Capezio EJ2 caramel shoe (jazz) & Comfortable, movement-friendly sneakers for the beginning of the season (hip hop)

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

7-9 year old Tap/Ballet Class (WEDNESDAYS):

Any combination of black, white and pink including a leotard, skirt, and tights. No pants/shorts.

SHOES: White BLOCH Annie Tyette Tap Shoes & SoDanća pink canvas slippers

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

 

Ballet/Pointe:

Leotard and pink tights; skirt optional

SHOES: SoDanća pink canvas slippers and/or professionally fitted and properly sewn pointe shoes (if applicable)

HAIR: Neat ballet bun secured with either a bun shaper, hair net, or bun cover

 

Lyrical/Contemporary:

Leotard and black or tan tights with optional dancer pants, shorts or leggings

SHOES: BLOCH Ladies Spin 2 Half Sole Shoes (light sand canvas)

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

 

Intermediate Tap & Tap Foundations:

Leotard and black or tan tights with optional dancer pants, shorts or leggings

SHOES: Capezio Fluid tan tap shoe

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

 

Teen & Advanced Tap:

Leotard and black or tan tights with optional dancer pants, shorts or leggings

SHOES: Bloch Respect black tap shoe

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

 

ALL Jazz, Jumps & Turns, Musical Theatre:

Leotard and black or tan tights with optional dancer pants, shorts or leggings

SHOES: Capezio EJ2 caramel shoe

HAIR: Pulled back in a bun or ponytail

 

3-8 year-old Hip Hop:

Dancers must wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing - no crop tops

SHOES: Comfortable, movement-friendly sneakers for the beginning of the season - performance shoe TBD

HAIR: Pulled back off the face

 

9-18 year-old Hip Hop:

Dancers must wear modest, comfortable, loose-fitting clothing - no crop tops

SHOES: Comfortable, movement-friendly sneakers for the beginning of the season - performance shoe TBD

HAIR: Pulled back off face

 

Junior & Senior Companies:

Black leotard + black tights

STARLETS, Shooting Stars & Mini Company:

Black leotard + tan tights

HAIR: Neat ballet bun secured with either a bun shaper, hair net, or bun cover
