The Spring Lake Theatre is pleased to welcome Emily Gilman Beezley, and announce the opening of her art exhibition “Selections from the Studio”. Through December 9, the newly reopened Spring Lake Community House Upper Gallery located on the second floor inside the Spring Lake Theatre is exhibiting "Selections from the Studio", the works of Emily Gilman Beezley. Gilman Beezley's work explores the intersection of nature, memory and emotion. Through a blend of stylized abstraction and expressive realism, the artist creates tranquil yet dynamic scenes that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect
with the world around them. Her body of work centers on themes of water, landscape, and moments of wonder that shape how we relate to our surroundings.

Gilman Beezley's art resonates with collectors who seek both serenity and vibrancy - works that offer a sense of escape while remaining grounded in the beauty of the everyday. Words describing her art are inviting, peaceful and imaginative, with a consistent sense of color and movement.

As a nod to the Theater and her love of stage performances, several paintings from Gilman Beezley's “The Ballet Rehearsal” series will also be on display. These paintings, with their atmospheric stage lighting and narrative depth bring a sense of anticipation and grace to the canvas.
