Audition Format
The initial audition will consist of singing, dance, and reading if time permits. For your vocal audition, we encourage you to prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre selection appropriate for the roles you are interested in auditioning for. Please be extremely familiar with Matilda the Musical. The choreography, music, etc. are very new and different. We suggest you sing a song from the show, but it is not required.
Please print and fill out the audition sheet from the audition page of our website.
If you are auditioning for the role of Matilda, we highly recommend that you memorize “Acrobat Story 3”. There will be a section of the audition where we ask all possible Matilda’s to perform the monologue. Please do your best to perform the monologue in a British accent.
