Based on George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion," "My Fair Lady" tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a spirited flower girl transformed into a refined lady by the phonetics professor Henry Higgins. Featuring timeless songs such as "I Could Have Danced All Night," "The Rain in Spain," and "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," this musical promises to delight audiences of all ages.
"My Fair Lady" is produced by Patricia Barry and directed by Andrew Ferrie, both veterans of the Spring Lake Theatre known for their exceptional work both on stage and behind the scenes. The production boasts a talented cast of local actors, exquisite costumes, and stunning sets that will transport you to the heart of London. Musical direction is provided by Teddy Kernizan, with choreography by Christine Baglivio. Thomas Vice is Assistant Director. The scenic and lighting design, which will bring the vibrant world of "My Fair Lady" to life, is by Andrew Dagostino, with stage management by Johnny Bongiovanni and Hannah Mannion.

The cast features both veterans and newcomers, with Claudia Noto taking the role of the title character, Eliza Doolittle, who is instructed by Michael Morch’s Professor Henry Higgins, with the assistance of David Fusco as Colonel Pickering. Mrs. Pearce, Higgins housekeeper, is portrayed by Mary Pat Erbe. Eliza’s father, Alfred Doolittle, is played by Stephen Balgivio, with Steve Bartlow and Rich Bryson portraying his compatriots Harry and Jamie respectively. Among the upper class Eliza has to charm, Deni Sobotka plays Henry’s mother, Mrs. Higgins, with Carol Lee Gordon-Weber as Mrs. Eynsford-Hill, and Sean Dickinson as her son, Freddy, who becomes charmed by Eliza. Finally, Professor Zolton Karpathy is played by Nick D’Ambrosia.
Backing them up is an outstanding ensemble consisting of Sean Astrom, Leslie Barlow, Chloe Benson, Justine Bouton, Sean Busk, Michael Caggiano, Joseph Clark, Allisa Conover, Steven Copp, Nick D’Ambrosia, Emily Davis, Lauren Freidman, Sierra Freidman, Amy Gesualdi, Jade Gordon, Carol Lee Gorson-Weber, Gabrielle Greffen, Mary Lou Hiller, Samantha Jenkins, Mary Jodry, Jonathon Kane, Sean McLaughlin, Hobey Peterson, Isabella Stevens, Hannah Swierkocki, and Paige Wehner.
