At the Spring Lake Community House, we pride ourselves on our professional and age-appropriate dance and theatre programs taught by the most qualified faculty in our area. Our mission is to instill core values, such as respect, hard-work and kindness. Each year we are given a new opportunity to share the love of the arts with your children in our one-of-a-kind, multifunctional facility which houses two movement studios AND its very own 356-seat theatre. The culture of the SLCH is that of a large family learning and growing together. We hope you’ll join us!

Our students have described their programs as: INSPIRING - LOVING - A SAFE PLACE TO LEARN

Our THEATRE WORKSHOP PROGRAM allows children (grades 2-12) to excel in their strongest theatrical discipline of either singing, dancing or acting, while also training in the other facets of theatre. In May, each class will present a musical with Broadway quality costumes, lighting and set design!

The DANCE PROGRAM offers children (ages 1-18) classes in multiple disciplines for all levels, from the pre-school dancer to our award-winning competition students, giving each child the opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment where they’ll be challenged, inspired and make lifelong friends.
Our Annual Spring Recital is June 2, 3 & 4 in our VERY OWN THEATRE!

8 monthly payments due on the 1st of each month
 

2nd & 3rd grades
$135 per month + $35 One-time Family Registration Fee
$1,065 Paid in Full (Includes Discount & Registration Fee)
 

4th-12th grades
$180 per month + $35 per Family One-Time Registration Fee
$1,425 Paid in Full (Includes Discount & Registration Fee)

Ages & grades are approximate. Placement is ultimately based on each student’s commitment level, progress, understanding, and execution of technical concepts. Recommendations can be found in the DSP Portal.

7-9 year old combos -Beginning level for dancers attending one-hour technique classes honing in on more specific styles (2nd/3rd grades)
 

Level 2 - Advanced Beginning level (3rd/4th grades)
 

Level 3 - Pre-Intermediate level (5th/6th grades)
 

Level 4 - Intermediate level (6th/7th grades)
 

Level 5 - Intermediate/Advanced level for dancers with at least 7+years of technical training (8th-10th grades)
 

Level 6 - Advanced level offering our most challenging classes. Dancers should have 8+ years of technical training (10th-12th grades)


*Students interested in taking lyrical/contemporary are highly encouraged to
supplement that class with a ballet technique class.

Come join Mr. Brandon and Miss Kerry for a new Mini Music and Movement class!  All children ages 1-3 and parents are welcomed join us every Tuesday from. 10:00-11:00am. We have created a brand new program combining a childs love of music and dance with the NJ State Standards for Pre-School Visual and Performing Arts. We can’t wait to sing, dance, and have fun with you and your littlest star!

This class runs for a 5 week period. You can register through DanceStudio Pro.
