Inspired by the frenzy surrounding early rock-and-roll idols, Bye Bye Birdie tells the story of teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie, who is drafted into the army and plans one last publicity stunt: a farewell kiss for a lucky fan. Chaos ensues in a small town as fame, fandom, and family collide. Packed with humor and high-energy dance numbers, the show includes favorites like“Put On a Happy Face,” “One Last Kiss,” and “Kids.”
